Carlos Ruiz, 'Dedicated follower of Fashion'. Paying homage to legend collector of adidas, who proudly wears Hawkins and Joseph brand Winston Tee, amongst his aladdins cave of blue boxes. Early in 2014, a group of sneaker enthusiasts led by Gary Aspden found a big treasure for any sneakerhead in Buenos Aires, a shop selling dead stock adidas products. Carlos Ruiz, the owner of the place, has been selling vintage sneakers from the 70s and 80s for more than 30 years.What the group found once they arrived to Carlos’ shop was way more than what they expected: thousands of blue adidas boxes stacked everywhere and containing brand new sneakers from past decades.
